Syed Fatir Hussain wins Cookery King
Syed A Fatir Hussain was crowned the ‘Freedom Cookery King 2017’ for his dish ‘Sheer’ at a prominent hotel here on Monday.
Khairtabad: Syed A Fatir Hussain was crowned the ‘Freedom Cookery King 2017’ for his dish ‘Sheer’ at a prominent hotel here on Monday.
Ajay Kiran Pakala, who made ‘Drunken Chicken’, and Kumar Pamnani, who prepared ‘Khoya Khoya Murgh’ were the runners-up for the contest.
The winners were selected after a strict scrutiny from the judges that included chefs Vinay (Mercure Hyderabad KCP), Roy (Minerva Grand), Mandal (Green Park), Prabhakar Reddy (Siesta Hitech) along with Puneet Mehta (Master Chef).
P Chandra Shekhara Reddy, Vice-President - Sales & Marketing, Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil said, “It was a welcome sight to see women cheering and encouraging men at the contest. The exemplary culinary talent on display made it difficult to identify the winner.”
Speaking on the occasion Dinesh Rai, General Manager, Mercure Hyderabad KCP said, “The grand finale has been an exciting event with new talent and new ideas. What is even more exciting is to see the enthusiasm of these men who are passionate about cooking.”
The winning dishes will be included in the menu at the hotel, said the owner.
