Tea stall vendor, who allegedly sold drugs in the area, vacated
In addition, the tea stall vendor, who was allegedly selling drugs to youngsters in the neighbourhood, was vacated from the area.
A complainant, on condition of anonymity, said, “We are happy now. The police made sure that no one creates nuisance in the area. They have given strict warnings to those misusing the public space near the railway tracks and deployed officials to keep a check on the illegal activities.”
The move was undertaken after CityLife published a report, ‘Miscreants spur trouble near RK Puram flyover, on November 16. According to the police, people have been taken into custody over the past week to ensure a safe and secured environment not only for the residents but also for passers-by, especially women.
