Hyderabad: The Cherlapally Prison Department will construct an ‘Ayurvedic Well Centre’ within its campus by February 2018. The same was revealed by Arjun Rao, Superintendent of the prison to The Hans India on Thursday.

“The ultimate objective of this project is to provide professional training to prisoners to pursue the same once when they are released from here,” said Rao.
“As of now we put up two rooms one for consultation, one for massage and steam bath. Professionals in Ayurvedic massage will train our prisoners in therapy and other treatments,” he added.

When asked about the cost of the cost of the project, Rao, said, “The estimated cost is around Rs 5 lakh and we are planning to employ six prisoners for the centre. Any common man can come and get their treatment done.”
