Corporator to file a complaint

Nacharam: Local Corporator Shanti Saizen is all set to file a complaint to the Chief Minister of Telangana against the local MLA and MRO for not involving them in the distribution of Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyan Lakshmi cheques to the beneficiaries.

Shanti Saizen told The Hans India, “As per rules, the cheques should be distributed at MRO office in the presence of local area corporator.” There are chances that the amount would be misused, she added. Kalyan Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes were introduced by the government to financially support newly-married women belonging to backward classes and minorities.
