From \"Bhogi Mantalu\" to \"Bommala Koluvu\", the tiny tots of Bhashyam School in Malkajgiri enjoyed Sankranthi in a traditional style, here on Thursday. Dressed in ethnic wear like pattu langa, dhoti and kurta, the young ones stole grabbed the spectacular attraction. 

Malkajgiri: From "Bhogi Mantalu" to "Bommala Koluvu", the tiny tots of Bhashyam School in Malkajgiri enjoyed Sankranthi in a traditional style, here on Thursday. Dressed in ethnic wear like pattu langa, dhoti and kurta, the young ones stole grabbed the spectacular attraction.

As a part of the celebrations, a bonfire was lit in the school premises and everyone from the teaching faculty and the students moved around it, singing popular bhogi songs. Keeping the rich Telugu traditions alive, Bommala Koluvu, a traditional arrangement of dolls was placed on steps and offered special prayers.

Later, students along with their parents took part enthusiastically in a rangoli competition organised by the school. Even faculty members participated in the celebrations with much excitement. School Director Ramakrishna, C E O Chaitanya, Z E O Ankam Rao, Principals Ravichandra and Lakshmi attended the programme.
