Cops want pubs to check IDs of customers

Speaking to the Hans India newspaper Joint Traffic Commissioner Ravinder said " We have special teams for drink and drive where they do regular checkup and also in weekends, most of the youngsters have been found in the drink and drive cases. With the help of technology we are able to catch them.
They have to follow the traffic rules and regulations, and should not drink and drive their vehicle. The pubs and bars should not allow minors to drink, they should check the ID proof of these youngsters” he said. However, when queried about the number of cases which have occurred in January, the police officials were not able to provide data immediately.
