Bowenpally: The commuters at Hasmathpet, Bowenpally are facing a difficult time to travel and walk along the road since a week. The officials have dug up the road completely to lay new pipelines for water supply.

The buses travelling along this route are being diverted towards Bowenpally crossroads causing inconvenience for the people who usually avail of RTC bus service. People who reside in the areas of Hasmathpet and Dubai gate have to walk about a kilometre to reach the main road in order to take a bus.

When asked about the present situation from the shop keepers nearby, they said that it’s been a week since the work was started and is likely to take another to be completed. However, one of the shop owners Narayana said that their daily business is stalled as people do not come to shop as the road is closed completely.

Commuters and the residents here wait for the pipeline works to complete as it is getting difficult to walk along the road that is dug up.
