Honorary doctorate for editor of Kala
Senior journalist and editor of magazine Kala Mohammad Rafee has been honoured with the degree of Honorary Doctorate in Journalism from the International Peace University, Germany, at the convocation held in the university’s Bangkok campus. The doctorate is recognised by the Global Accreditation Council, UK.

Rounaq Yar Khan, nature conservationist (6th Nizam’s great grandson), Vijaya Sarada Reddy (Education) (Secretary , Nalanda and Holy Mary groups of educational institutions), Prabhakar Jaini (Literature), writer and director and Alahari Prasada Rao, TV director, received doctorates along with Rafee.
Rafee, who was the recipient of Kala Ratna Award, was special correspondent with HMTV for about two years. He received over 140 awards from various organisations from home and abroad as the best journalist.
