Garbage piles up at KPHB

Hyderabad: While we see the GHMC people working hard to remove the garbage from the city here at KPHB colony the scenario looks way different. Residents complain of garbage being piled up constantly and there is no such action been taken by the officials.

Many people are seen suffering due to the unclean streets at KPHB. Complaining about the inconvenience a boy’s hostel warden said, that it is being more than six months that we have complaint to GHMC, but they were no response. “The GHMC had earlier removed the garbage but dumping of garbage has started again.

And I have seen people here throwing the garbage and nobody really cares they throw it where ever they want”. One of the resident said, “I have been staying here since a year and when I first came here the garbage wasn’t piled up but as days passed the little turned into huge. Passing from here is a horrific experience because we cannot bare the bad smell and it is our daily route to go everywhere.

I hope this should not be continued further and GHMC officials would look into the matter immediately”.

Student Garima said, “Garbage is being thrown on the main road, opposite the colony Medical store blocking the way. This is also resulting to traffic jams in the streets. Earlier a dust bin had been placed near the street, but people keep throwing it on the road as the bins are filled”.
