Programme on crime awareness
In order to take preventive measures in curbing crimes related to forgery and other fraudulent practices in jewellery industry, a crime awareness programme was organised on Sunday at P Satyanarayana Bhavan, Ghansi Bazar.
Charminar: In order to take preventive measures in curbing crimes related to forgery and other fraudulent practices in jewellery industry, a crime awareness programme was organised on Sunday at P Satyanarayana Bhavan, Ghansi Bazar.
South Zone Police officials organised this event to educate the gold smiths, mostly belonging to Bengal, about the good practices in gold ornament manufacturing. Telangana Bengali Samithi President Dipankar Pal facilitated this meeting in association with Police Department.
There are thousands of Bengali workers associated with the gold and jewellery industry in Hyderabad. Charminar Inspector Chandra Shekhar Reddy and others addressed the gathering and informed the audience about the related sections of IPC and nature of crimes in jewellery industry. Workers and others appreciated this kind of awareness programme.
