Telangana leads entire country
“MCR HRD Institute of Telangana has succeeded in achieving the challenging target of imparting e-Learning training in twelve soft skills and three domain-skills, sponsored by DoPT, Government of India, to Government employees across 31 districts of Telangana.

The Institute should now take lead to ensure that this program is implemented across all the remaining 28 States by inspiring its counterpart Administrative Training Institutes located across the country”, said A K Goel, (Retd.), Adviser to Government, Planning & Energy in the “Interactive Meet of the Comprehensive Online Modified Modules for Induction Training”, organised by Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana. Continuing his address, he stated that the fast increasing cyber connectivity will be greatly instrumental in imparting e-Learning training programs to a large number of employees.
B P Acharya, IAS, Spl. Chief Secretary & DG, Dr. MCR HRD Institute of Telangana said that Dr. MCR HRD Institute succeeded in imparting training to a whopping 16,510 Government employees. “Telangana State is leading the campaign of e-Learning training program of Government of India in the entire country”, he stated with a sense of pride and added that it is proposed to cover a staggering 60,000 Government employees in Telangana in 2018-‘19.
He said that training programs to Government employees in such soft skills as communication, leadership, time management, etc. willtransform the human resource potential of Telangana State and result in realizing the dream ofBangaru Telangana. “The Institute is taking steps to develop the reading material into Telugu which will be of great help to the employees not only in Telangana State but also AP”, he said and thanked the DoPT profusely for selecting Telangana State in its e-Learning mission.
K Srinivas, IAS, Joint Secretary (Training), DoPT said that the Government of India is fully committed to impart training to all the two crore public servants working across 29 States and Govt. of India. He said that the average age of Government employees has come down from 50 to 45 years and in the near future it would be as low as 35 years. Considering the inflow of younger employees into the Government cadre, their continuous training is a pressing need of the hour”, he stated.
However, he opined that e-Learning is the most cost-effective and viable alternative considering thehuge numbers of employees across the length and breadth of the country. He added that DoPT would launch a series of e-Learning training programs, separately for different departments, in the language of each State.
Later certificates to employees on the successful completion of the e-Learning Training programmes was handed over. Earlier, M P Sethy, Chief Consultant (Training & e-Learning) of the Institute welcomed the gathering. Dr.Gautam Pingle, Head, Telangana Study Centre & Dean of Studies proposed a vote of thanks. Sridevi Ayaluri, Head, CIT and GM (IT) conducted the proceedings of the function.
