World TB Day held
Doctors and NGOs working for eradication of Tuberculosis (TB) organised a programme on the occasion of World TB Day at Yakutpura on Thursday. Dr Anitha Rani, MOTC and staff members of Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) attended the event and distributed literature pertaining to the awareness on TB.
Dabeerpura: Doctors and NGOs working for eradication of Tuberculosis (TB) organised a programme on the occasion of World TB Day at Yakutpura on Thursday. Dr Anitha Rani, MOTC and staff members of Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) attended the event and distributed literature pertaining to the awareness on TB.
Dr Anitha Rani said that Tuberculosis was a curable disease and everyone should come forward to educate the masses and disadvantaged persons of the society. She said that there must be preventive measures to be safe from TB. Gifts and necessary accessories were distributed among the TB survivors on this occasion. Aasha workers, Anganwadi workers and others participated in the event. A rally was taken out on this occasion from Dabeerpura and DMC Yakutpura.
