GHMC has been making good efforts to make city look good besides developing the infrastructure. As part of the Strategic Road Development Project (SRDP), a road underpass is being constructed near Chintalakunta. The 540- metre long underpass would ease the traffic moving towards Vijayawada near LB Nagar circle, Sagar Ring Road.

The 540- metre long underpass would ease the traffic moving towards Vijayawada near LB Nagar circle, Sagar Ring Road.
The side walls of the underpass have been beautified with paintings of greenery and catchy art. The works on this stretch are estimated to cost around Rs 12.7 crore. The attractive art on both interior sides of the underpass are winning accolades from the passersby and people. Municipal body is expected to complete the Chintakunta underpass as early as possible.
