Film Nagar: TRS Khairthabad in charge Manne Govardhan Reddy visited BJR Nagar of Film Nagar regarding a complaint on construction of retaining wall for the nala and slab over it. There was severe flood after the rains on Thursday and roads got severely damaged.
Govardhan previously submitted many memorandums to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) regarding the same and recently GHMC officials prepared an estimation copy for budget of Rs 50 lakh to complete the retaining and slab works over the nala. The residents were facing the problem of stagnant water near the lake and rise in mosquito population spreading vector-borne diseases.
