The Government Primary Centre organised Free Health Camp in Indira Gandhi Puram on Thursday. The programme was attended by the corporator Satish Babu,  Basti president, D E Raju and other leaders Syed Imran, Ghouse, Shahjahan, Basheer, Sheik Shah, Lateef, Arif also took active part in the camp and others. 

Fathe Nagar: The Government Primary Centre organised Free Health Camp in Indira Gandhi Puram on Thursday. The programme was attended by the corporator Satish Babu, Basti president, D E Raju and other leaders Syed Imran, Ghouse, Shahjahan, Basheer, Sheik Shah, Lateef, Arif also took active part in the camp and others.

As many as 150 people of the nearby areas attended the health camp and were checked for health issues by the hospital staff. As a part of the programme, medicines were distributed among the poor patients with nominal or no cost depending on their ailments.

The camp was attended by more than 300 people who were not from the same area but yet checked their issues. The government hospitals officials spent the money on this camp. The medical camp offered free medical checkup that includes blood pressure, eye checkup and also free medicines were given to almost 300 people.

Satish Babu Corporator of Fathenagar said, “Main intention of serving this camp is to give the needy people free services and soon we are going to organise more camps in the area. Also, the area people are making efforts to get in touch with the people who really need the free medicines.”

Ranjana the patient at health camp said, “The free camp is giving many benefits to the area people. I came here for the eye check up and they also provided me the free eye drops and few medicines for further use. These free health camps should often happen because this is more helping the poor people in the area.”
