Pavani takes stock of delayed works
n a knee-jerk reaction, corporator Pavani Reddy took stock of the progress on the ongoing drainage works after locals repeatedly complained about the slow pace of work. The corporator visited Flora Hotel where the works started but now have come to a standstill. She warned the contractor to complete the works in time.

The divisional engineer Balakrishna, assistant engineer Santosh Reddy also accompanied the corporator and inspected the work site. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials said that many projects in the division were not getting completed in time due to the apathetic attitude of the contractors.
In some cases, after the foundations stone was laid, the corporators were never seen at the site. When locals enquired the workers about the whereabouts of public representatives even they too were unaware. Local leaders Manipal Reddy, Sandeep, ward members Somaiahchari, Surender were present.
