BJP activists stage protest against externment of Swami Paripoornananda

Toopran: Protesting the house arrest and externment of Hindu seer Swamy Paripoornanada from the Hyderabad city by the Telangana police department, the BJP leaders including party president of Toopran mandal Ramunigari Mahesh Goud staged a dharna on the road in front of Grama Panchayat Office here on Thursday. The agitators allege that the state government was working against Hindus and suppressing the freedom of speech and fundamental rights of them in the name of breach to the law and order.

They demanded the government to put Kathi Mahesh, who made spiteful comments against lord Rama and Ramayana hurting the religious sentiments of crores of Hindus. SI Nagarjuna Goud reached the spot and cleared the road by taking the situation into control. BJP leaders Saibaba Goud, Janaki Ram Goud, Kondal, Amar and others participated in the road blockage. Swamy Paripoorannanda was externed from Hyderabad on Tuesday night by the TS police on the charges of objectionable and communal inciting comments at public meetings in the recent past.
