Rachanna temple hundi gets offerings worth `1, 68,461

Zaheerabad: The quarterly counting of hundi collections of Sri Rachanna Swamy temple in the constituency on Sunday.

According to the endowments officials and the temple executive officer (Siva Rudrappa), the temple earned Rs 1, 68,461 by way of hundi collections received during the past three months. Silver ornaments offered to the deity were returned to the hundi. Village sarpanch Sankar, governing body chairman Kanaka Ratnam, temple trust boad members Siva Swamy, Santamma and others were present.
