Bahadurpura: Bahadurpura MLA Mohammad Moazam Khan appealed to Muslims to maintain hygiene on Bakrid (Eid-ul-Azha) so that their localities are spared from any health hazard and also help GHMC clear the wastage at the earliest.

The MLA asked the denizens to collect the animal wastage following due process of sacrifice and collect it in the black polythene bags provided by the GHMC, before throwing them in the garbage containers. He said rather than throwing openly in the garbage containers, if the residents dump their waste by filling in the black bags it would not only help GHMC clean up the wastage on time, but also would help people of the locality from spreading any kind of disease and would not prove to be hazardous. “If the roads are strewn with the waste, it would only cause inconvenience to the locals,” he emphasised.

Moazam called upon the people to help GHMC successfully complete the special drive on the occasion of Bakrid for three days. “It is for the good of your family and locality to maintain hygiene on this occasion. Moreover, Islam teaches cleanliness and hygiene at all levels,” he added. On Saturday, the MLA along with Wakf Board Chairman, Md Saleem, Shanawaz Qasim, CEO Wakf Board, South Zone Police Commissioner, V Satyanarayana and Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad traffic police, K Babu Rao and other officials of GHMC, HMWSSB, Electricity made inspection of Mir Alam Eid Gah for the upcoming Bakrid.
