Vikarabad Collector sets Haritha Haram target by September 20

​Vikarabad: District Collector Syed Omer Jaleel on Tuesday instructed officials to complete the Haritha Haram target by September 20. The other instructions including geo tagging to saplings, submission of daily reports, distribution of five saplings to each student on the occasion of Teachers day on September 5, planting of saplings at 49 identified forest blocks and consult DRDO and DFO for any problems. District SP Annapurna, Additional SP Narsimulu, DRDO Johnson, DFO Venu Madhav were present.

Earlier, the collector told chief secretary SK Joshi that they will reach Haritha Haram target before stipulated date at a video conference of district collectors. The chief secretary instructed them to prepare plan of action for sarees distribution during Bathukamma festival. 

The other instructions including sarees to women above 18 year-old with white ration card, identification of warehouse to stock sarees, selection of teams for distribution of sarees with proper training and expedite land acquisition for national highways in districts DRDO Johnson, DMWO Sabitha, DFO Venu Madhav, horticulture officer Neeraja Gandhi were present.
