Attacking the ObamaCare, United States President Donald Trump has vowed to repeal and replace it after the Republican tax cut bill is signed into law.

Dubbing the healthcare bill as a 'disaster', Trump in a tweet post said, "ObamaCare premiums are going up, up, up, just as I have been predicting for two years. ObamaCare is OWNED by the Democrats, and it is a disaster."

"But do not worry. Even though the Dems want to Obstruct, we will Repeal & Replace right after Tax Cuts!"

Trump's promise to repeal ObamaCare comes in the backdrop of an unexpected surge in the enrolment in the health-care law.

According to reports, the Senate's failure to pass any bill to repeal or overhaul Obamacare is what prompted Republicans to quickly move to tax cuts this year.

Nearly 2.3 million people signed up for coverage through ObamaCare exchanges during the first 18 days of the open enrollment period.

Republicans are trying to take a nibble out of Obamacare as part of the tax bill.
