Thousands of devotees turn up for celestial wedding
The celestial wedding of Lord Ranganatha Swamy and Goda Devi was performed at various temples in Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri districts on Friday. The wedding was performed by the temple priests on a grand note at Pathagutta Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple.

Nalgonda: The celestial wedding of Lord Ranganatha Swamy and Goda Devi was performed at various temples in Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri districts on Friday. The wedding was performed by the temple priests on a grand note at Pathagutta Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple.
Yadadri temple Executive Officer Geetha participated in the programme. On the occasion of Bhogi festival, former Minister G Vivek along with his family members visited Balalayam on Yadadri hill shrine.
State Planning Board vice-chairman Nirajan Reddy and Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham offered the Pattu Vasthralu and Thalambralu for Sri Goda Devi and Ranganatha Swamy Kalyanam at Sundara Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple at Palem village of Nakrekal mandal.
The wedding was also conducted at Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy temple in Nalgonda town and at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Suryapet town on a grand note. Thousands of devotees witnessed the celestial wedding in these two temples.
While respective temple authorities made elaborative arrangements for the convenience of devotees, the police took care of the security arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents during the celebrations.
