Khammam: The trade union leaders of AITUC and CITU met the Regional Provident Fund commissioner Krishna Shanker in Warangal on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum seeking justice to the sanitation labourers working with Khammam Municipal Corporation.
The leaders led by AITUC Khammam district secretary Manda Venkateswarlu and CITU Jalli Sreenu told the commissioner that due to alleged irregularities of the contractors, the sanitation labourers had lost their provident fund and other benefits during the period between 2009 and 2016. The commissioner assured the leaders of looking into the issue.
