Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha, Collector Anita Ramachandran and Yadadri Temple EO Geetha during a meeting in Yadadri on Thursday
Yadadri: The annual Brahmotsavams of Yadadri Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy would be conducted from February 27 to March 9.
In this connection, Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha conducted a meeting with District Collector Anita Ramachandran, DCP Yadagiri, Temple EO Geetha and other officials concerned in EO office on the hillock.
Public representatives and officials concerned decided the venues of various events of the Brahmostavams, which includes celestial wedding and Radotsavam.
Celestial wedding of Lord Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy with his consort would be conducted at 11 am at Balaalayam on March 6. In the evening, it will be again conducted at old high school located opposite to Yadagirigutta bus stand.
On the occasion, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will present silk clothes to the deities.
Governor ESL Narasimhan, Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy, Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy will attend the celebrations.
The temple authorities on the direction of KCR reduced the wedding ticket from Rs 10,000 to 2,500 for the convenience of all sections of devotees. Another main event, Radotsavam, would be conducted on March 7 at the Yadadri foot hill.
Gongidi Sunitha directed DCP Yadagiri to make elaborate security arrangements for the safety of devotees during the celebrations.
