Speaking to media after attending a private programme in Nakrekal on Friday, Komatireddy slammed both the CM and his own party leaders. Launching indirect attack at TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy,

Komatireddy said, “One of the top leaders of TPCC claimed that he would be chief of the state party unit till 2019 elections.

Party high command can take any decision at any time in the interest of party.” With collective efforts of party leaders, Congress would definitely gain power in the State by winning 70 to 80 Assembly seats in 2019 elections, he underlined.

Lashing out at KCR, Komatireddy said the CM had passed three years by living a lavish and gave least importance to people’s welfare and progress of the State. He advised CM to focus on issues of farmers and unemployed youth for the next two years.

Nakrekal former MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah and other local leaders attended the press meet. Meanwhile, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy escaped a road accident near Kothagudem of Pochampalli mandal while going to Nalgonda to attend a case in Nalgonda court.

According to sources, a lorry driver lost his control and hit the rear side of MLA's car on NH-65 at Kothagudem.
