Addressing the officials during a review meeting here at Zilla Parishad Chamber in Khammam on Monday, the Collector asked the officials to identify areas which are problematic and directed them to start laying of pipelines on war-footing under Mission Bhagiratha.
“By speeding up Mission Bhagiratha works, take necessary steps for preventing water scarcity in rural areas by establishing wide range of communication system along with implementing the safe drinking water schemes,” suggested the Collector.
“Take necessary steps for completion of 339 habitation works under Mission Bhagiratha Project which were earlier carried under CRF and non CRF,” ordered the Collector.
Superintending Engineer of Rural Water Supply department Srinivas, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Marapaka Nagesh and District Panchayat Officer Srinivas Reddy were present along with others.
