Three days after a 75–year-old woman, K Raghavamma, was strangulated to death on February 26, police investigations revealed that it was her daughter-in-law, Vijaya and elder son Appi Reddy, who committed the heinous crime.

Later, they created to look like a suicide, said CI Rajendra Prasad. Under the supervision of CI Rajendra Prasad, the police took the accused into custody on Wednesday.
Property was the motive behind the murder, added the CI. The deceased hailed from Marlapadu in Vemsuru mandal and is survived by two sons.
