Tafseer Iqbal new police Commissioner of Khammam

Tafseer Iqbal took charge as Commissioner of Police, Khammam on Monday. He succeeds Shahnawaz Qasim, who was posted as Cyberabad Joint Commissioner.
Khammam: Tafseer Iqbal took charge as Commissioner of Police, Khammam on Monday. He succeeds Shahnawaz Qasim, who was posted as Cyberabad Joint Commissioner.
Speaking to media persons, he said: “With my past experience in Khammam, I will start my work by taking the people into confidence.”
It may be mentioned here that Tafseer had worked as Additional Superintendent of Police in Khammam in 2014 and also as the DCP of LB Nagar (Hyderabad) before he was elevated to the post of Commissioner of Police.
Later, he paid a courtesy call on District Collector DS Lokesh Kumar and District Judge M Laxman. Earlier, Additional DCP Saikrishna accorded a warm welcome to Tafseer.
