The members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal along with devotees took part in the Sri Veera Hanuman Shoba Yatra in large numbers, which was held on a grand note on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti in Khammam on Tuesday.

Khammam: The members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal along with devotees took part in the Sri Veera Hanuman Shoba Yatra in large numbers, which was held on a grand note on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti in Khammam on Tuesday.

On the day, they took out a massive motorcycle rally raising slogans and holding saffron flags from Sri Anjaneya Swami Statue in Gandhi Chowk to Parnashala of Indiranagar, through Bonaka crossroad, Kamanpura, bus stand and Wyra bypass road.

The rally was inaugurated by the Perika Balaji, secretary of VHP along with Vemulapalli Venkanna and K Lakshminarayana of RSS.

Speaking on the occasion, Trishul Swamiji said Lord Hanuman was the symbol of strength and energy.

VHP district president Allika Anjaiah and the representatives of VHP and Bajrang Dal T Mallikarjun, Jaipal Reddy, S Uday Pratap, K Sridhar Reddy, D Venkateshwarlu, D Sathyanarayana, G Narayan, Rudra Pradeep, P Veera Chandrashekar, Prudvi Naik, Srikanth and Carporators Chava Narayan, Kotapalli Saroja were also present along with others.
