Khammam: The police must discharge their duties with aim of rendering justice to the victims who approach police stations, felt Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal.

The Commissioner inspected various police stations in Wyra, Thallada, Chintakani, Konijerla and Wyra ACP office under Wyra Sub-division here in Khammam on Thursday.

He enquired about details of cases registered and observed the records along with the steps taken by police personnel working in various police stations for carrying out investigations.

Speaking on the occasion, Tafseer Iqbal ordered the officials to lodge complaints immediately received from people who approach police stations without making them wait for hours in the police stations.

He also ordered the officials to hand over the details of investigation of the case to the persons who lodged the complaints along with behaving strictly with the persons who harass women.

“The police personnel must discharge their duties perfectly with an aim to solve the problems as early as possible by protecting the law and order,” suggested the CP.
