Arrange check posts at different places along the borders of the district to keep a check on illegal transport of fake seeds and seeds transport without permission, ordered the Commissioner of Police, Tafseer Iqbal. He chaired a review meeting on crime with the police officials here at Special Branch mini conference hall on Friday.

Speaking at the meeting, the CP said they got information that a few traders, in order to earn quick money, were indulging in illegal transport of PDS rice, sand, gutka packets along with fake seeds from neighbouring districts.
Take necessary action against the persons, who were involved in such type of illegal business, the Commissioner directed the cops.
Take perfect steps to prevent illegal transport and selling of fake seeds, fertilisers and pesticides in the district along with preventing fake publicity on seeds and fertilisers that lure innocent farmers, the CP ordered. He also told to seize the vehicles.
The top boss warned the cops that disciplinary action will be taken against those, who neglect filing cases against the persons involved in illegal trading.
“Police officials must not compromise in maintaining law and order and in preventing anti-social activities in the district along with discharging duties as per the needs of the people. Maintain friendly relations with them,” advised the Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal.
Assistant Commissioners of Police Suresh Kumar, Ganesh, Rajesh, Sridhar Reddy, Circle Inspectors Sarangapani, Rehaman, Naresh Reddy, Venkanna Babu, Anjali, Thirupathi Reddy, Rajendra Prasad, Ramesh, Sridhar, Mallaiah Goud,Kiram Kumar and Sambaraju were present along with others.
