Nalgonda: TRS leaders and cadre celebrated IT Minister KT Rama Rao’s birthday on a grand note in Nalgonda on Monday and laid foundation stones for developmental works and planted saplings to mark the day.

MP Gutha Sukender Reddy laid foundation stone for storm water drains at 16th and 14th wards in Nalgonda town and planted saplings in Ward 8 of the town. They also cut a cake at Ramachandra Enclave in Ward 14.

Speaking on the occasion, Gutha informed that very soon Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would tour Nalgonda to inaugurate the newly-constructed buildings in district headquarter hospital. He added that the drinking water issue of Nalgonda town would be addressed through the funds sanctioned under Central government’s Amrut scheme.

Meanwhile TSFDC Chiraman Banda Narender Reddy along with Nakrekal MLA Vemula Veeresham planted saplings in Mahatma Gandhi University premises and cut a cake in the presence of students and V-C Altaff Hussain. Tungaturthy MLA Gadhari Kishore also celebrated KTR’s birthday in a big way.
