240 take NIOS test
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducted annual examination for the new learners of 23 grama panchayats in Peddapalli district on Sunday.
Sultanabad: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducted annual examination for the new learners of 23 grama panchayats in Peddapalli district on Sunday.
Deputy Director Macharla Jaya Sankar visited the examination center at Kanukula village. Sub-regional centre official G Sridevi also visited the examination center in the village. In all, 240 students from 23 mandals took the NIOS examination, Jaya Sankar said adding that the NIOS would issue certificates to them.
Kanukula village sarpanch Routu Bapanna, division supervisor V Nagaraju, mandal coordinator A Karunakar, village coordinators Uturi Sujata, Jana Lakshman, Kistaiah, Krishnaveni, Vasant Sankar and Rajita and others coordinated the arrangements to conduct the examinations.
