Khammam: Practicing meditation will not only give mental peace but also improves thinking ability and concentration power, suggested Armed Reserve Force Assistant Commissioner of Police Venkateshwarlu here on Monday.

After receiving orders from Commissioner of Police Tafseer Iqbal, a programme was organised on ‘Heart Fullness Mediation’ at Police headquarters in Khammam on Monday, where about 150 police men under Sri Ramchandra Mission participated.ACP Venkateshwarlu, inaugurating the programme, said to overcome stress along with problems that arise while discharging duties and to gain mental peace, practicing meditation was the best solution.

Regular exercising not only helps in keeping the body fit, but also enhances the immunity power, added the ACP.He further informed that similar programmes would be organised for police personnel at Wyra and Sattupalli divisions for three days and urged the cops to utilise the opportunity. AR ACP Sanjeev, Kadimala Radha Krishna, Nagendar and MTO Nageshwar Rao participated along with others.
