Khammam: District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar ordered the officials of Revenue department to follow the guidelines issued by the government while carrying out land reforming works from September 15.
The Collector chaired a special meeting with the officials of Revenue department and Tahsildars to discuss land reforming works here at Technical Training and Development Centre in Khammam on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said Tahsildars must complete the land reforming works as per mandal-wise coordinating with the members of all groups present in the mandal.
The officials must collect the records for proof following the guidelines issued by the government before visiting for Grama Sandharshana programmes apart from conducting Gram Sabhas, suggested the Collector.
He further ordered the officials to give necessary suggestions to the farmers for solving various land issues for completing the land reforming works without any hurdles along with receiving the objection from the farmers if any.
“Submit the day-wise details of progress of reforming works to the Collectorate Control Room for entering the details in prescribed list,” ordered the Collector.
