Bhadrachalam: As part of the development of famous Bhadradri temple, the government is planning to construct a thousand-pillar atrium at Bhadrachalam.

It is known that Chief Minister K ChandraSekar Rao already announced Rs 100 crore for the development of the temple.

In this regard, a review meeting was also conducted with Chief Minister, Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy, R and B Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao and Chief Architect and Sculptor Anand Sai in Hyderabad recently.

After observing the temple plan, the Chief Minister has directed the officials concerned to show the plan to Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.

As per the Chief Minister’s order, Architect Anand Sai met Chinna Jeeyar Swamy here on Tuesday. Speaking to The Hans India after meeting the seer, Anand Sai said the temple would be developed in 65 acres with a 1000-pillar atrium, 108 feet Anjaneya statue and 70 feet Bhakta Ramdasu statue. Also more cottages would be constructed surrounding the area near Godavari in Sarapaka, he said.

The Brahmotsavam area would also be developed. The final plan would be presented to the Chief Minister for approval, he said.
