Prof Kodandaram gives call to defeat TBGKS
Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Chairman Professor Kodandaram called upon the workers of Singareni Collieries Company limited to defeat the TRS-affiliated union, Telangana Boggu Ghani Karmika Sangham, in union elections to be held on Thursday. On Wednesday, Kodandaram attended as chief guest to the Koluvula Kotlata (fight for jobs) programme held In Bhongir.

Speaking on the occasion, the TJAC chief stated that the government was passing the time with compassionate jobs instead of promised hereditary jobs to divert the attention of workers concerned.
Stating that the company needs 1.2 lakh workers to cater to the needs of the organisation, Kodandaram alleged that the government was betraying the workers by running the organisation with only 50,000 workers.
“KCR government encouraging the open cast mining to benefit the contractors,” he criticized. He further questioned the government’s sanctity over the activities taken up for the welfare of workers who were contributing valuable services to the nation in power production sector.
