Khammam: The representatives of Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) held a demonstration from Sundaraiah Bhavan to Saritha Clinic centre through NST road, demanding that the Central government should ban the Gosamraksham groups that are operating across the country.

The party Two-Town committee secretary Y Vikram said that in the name of ‘Gosamrakshak’, some groups were allegedly attacking innocent people across the country and creating panic among the people.

In Rajasthan, the members of Gosamrakshak killed an innocent farmer Umar Khan but the government didn’t take any action against the persons, who killed Umar Khan till date, he alleged.

Several such incidents were taking place across the nation. He demanded the Central government to ban the Gosamrakshak groups along with taking stringent actions against the persons, who killed Umar Khan. Demonstration was held under the leadership of CPM party leader Tulluri Ramu.

CPM leaders T Lakshminarsaiah, K Gurumurthy, J Venkanna Babu, Sd Gouse, Sudarshan, Indira, Bhavani, Gayatri, Suryam, Chiranjeevi, Hussain and SFI leaders Ramesh and Nagaraju were present along with others.
