Yadadri: Additional Secretary in Chief Minister’s Office Bhoopal Reddy requested the officials concerned to speed up the temple developmental works. In the wake Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s tour to Yadadri on November 24, the CMO official visited the holy shrine on Wednesday.

He held a review meeting with officials of Roads and Buildings, Mission Bhagiratha and TRANSCO at tourism guest house. Addressing the officials, Reddy advised TRANSCO officials to prepare a comprehensive plan to ensure 24x7 power supply on temple hillock, city and guest houses. He also advised them to supply power to new structures that are going to come up on hill shrine as part of temple modernisation.

TRANSCO director Srinivas Reddy informed that all measures have been taken to complete the sanctioned 33/11 KV substation by Sankranti. The CMO official suggested officials of Mission Bhagiratha to prepare a master plan and start pipeline works to facilitate round-the-clock water supply at the hillock and the city.

He directed the officials of R&B to take necessary steps and hold personnel meetings with land owners to clear land acquisition problems to lay four-way road to Yadadri. He directed all the officials to maintain quality of works and avoid delays.

Vice-chairman of Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) Kishan Rao explained various steps being carried out and status of works for the revival of Yadadri. As part of the tour, Bhoopal Reddy along with District Collector Anita Ramachandran, temple master architect Ananda Sai, architect Madhu, Engineer-in–Chief Ravinder, Joint Collector Ravi Nayak, temple Executive Officer Geetha Reddy and other officials inspected the ongoing works on the hillock.
