The District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu on Friday directed all the government and private institutions in the district to have their name boards written in Telugu prominently, as ordered by the State government, in the light of the World Telugu Conference (WTC) being held from December 15 to 19.
Kothagudem: The District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu on Friday directed all the government and private institutions in the district to have their name boards written in Telugu prominently, as ordered by the State government, in the light of the World Telugu Conference (WTC) being held from December 15 to 19.
He said women government employees who interested in participating in literary/cultural events in the WTC could submit their names by the month-end to the DRO in the Collectorate. They should apply immediately as the names have to be recommended by the Telangana Sahitya Akademy. The selected women employees would be considered on duty.
