Fight against child labour: DRO

A District level Child Labour Taskforce meeting was held at District Revenue Officer Chamber here on Monday. On the occasion, The District Revenue Officer Kiran Kumar directed the officers to recognise child labour and fight against child labour.
Kothagudem: A District level Child Labour Taskforce meeting was held at District Revenue Officer Chamber here on Monday. On the occasion, The District Revenue Officer Kiran Kumar directed the officers to recognise child labour and fight against child labour.
He informed officers that as per the Act of 2016, the children age between 14 to 18 is treated as child labour. The Tahsildars as Chairman, Mandal Educational Officers as convenors will form a Mandal level committee, he said. B Narasimha Rao Assistant Labour Commissioner, Leelavathi, Circle Inspector Ch Srinivas, P Vinod, Child Development Project Officer Jaya Lakshmi participated in the meeting.
