PDM to remember heroes of Kakori conspiracy
The State conference of Patriotic and Democratic Movement (PDM) will be held on December 18, at Sundarayya Bhavan in Hyderabad to mark the 90th death anniversary of the two great freedom fighters, Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqulla Khan, informed PDM State Committee Member Mogilicherla Anjaiah here on Wednesday.
Khammam: The State conference of Patriotic and Democratic Movement (PDM) will be held on December 18, at Sundarayya Bhavan in Hyderabad to mark the 90th death anniversary of the two great freedom fighters, Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqulla Khan, informed PDM State Committee Member Mogilicherla Anjaiah here on Wednesday.
He released a poster relating to the State conference here on Wednesday. Anjaiah said Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqulla Khan were remembered even today for their contribution to the Indian Freedom Movement, who were later executed by the British for their involvement in the Kakori conspiracy.
The chief architects of the Kakori conspiracy were Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqulla Khan along with few others. Following the incident, the British administration captured both the freedom fighters and awaeded them capital punishment, he reminded.
He urged the people, students, intellectuals, educationists and the representatives of various people’s organisations to participate in large numbers and make it a grand success. The Workers Union State Leader Chirra Ravi, PDM leaders Appa Reddy, Jalendar and Surendar were present.
