Bhongir: Local MP Boora Narsaiah Goud advised the disabled no to underestimate their talents and suggested to improve their skills to realise their dreams.

On Friday, the MP along with Government Whip Gongidi Sunitha and District Collector Anita Ramachandran participated in free calipers distribution programme to the disabled under joint operation of Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Organisation and District Rural Development Agency, in Bhongir.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said after identifying the disabled in the district through Sadaram camps, the Central government has come up with the distribution of calipers to the disabled.

Stating that when cycling becomes hard to a normal being, obviously it would become quite hard for disabled. If the Central government comes forward to provide e-cycles to the disbaled in his constituency, he was ready to provide Rs 12,000 per e-cycle from his MPLAD funds.

He assured the disabled that he would rise their issues on the floor of the Parliament. He advised the district administration to help the disabled in getting jobs in private companies and suggested the disable to utilize his foundation’s Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Suraksha Yojana scheme.

MLC Alimineti Krishna Reddy, Joint Collector Ravi Naik, District Rural Development Agency project Director Venkat Rao and large number of disabled participated in the programme.
