Launching the Yatra, CPI district Secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao said it was party’s tradition of taking out Amarjyothi Yatra before the meet since decades. “The Yatra will cover all prime locations in the Khammam city on Friday and Saturday and will reach meeting venue,” he informed.

Legendary leaders Giri Prasad and Mohammad Razab Ali, sons of Khammam soil, strived till their last breath for betterment of downtrodden and sacrificed their lives for strengthening the party. Taking such great personalities as an inspiration, the Khammam CPI party led a number of movements demanding the government to solve various peoples’ issues, he added. He urged the party leaders and the representatives of people’s organisations to attend the meet in large numbers to be held from February 17 to 19, at Adulapuram village and make it a grand success.

State president of AISF Siddineni Karna Kumar and district president Rama Krishna, AISF district secretary Jagarlamudi Ranjith Kumar, representatives Abburi Mahesh, Nanabala Rama Krishna, Sathish Reddy and Praveen were present.
