Speaking on this occasion, he said majority road accidents was due violation of safety measures and traffic rules.

He emphasised on wearing of safety belts during car driving and avoid cell phones and drunk and drive for safe journeys. Stating that in 2017 as many as 393 were killed in road accidents and 1,183 were injured in road accidents in the district , he said. In 2018, so far 56 persons died and 150 were injured in road accidents. He advised parents not to encourage minor driving and advised the youth and children to follow safety measures and traffic rules for their safety journeys.In this programme, CIs Ayodya, Adi Reddy, Ravi Kumar and staff participated.
