Khammam: The State leader of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), Raja Rao said if one statue is demolished hundreds of them will be installed by condemning the act of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and its affiliation Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) for demolishing the statue of Dr. B R Ambedkar in Uttar Pradesh and the Statue of Lenin in Tripura.

The representatives of the Kula Viveksha Porata Simiti (KVPS) under the leadership of Ganta Bheemaiah had given a milk bath to the photo of Dr. B R Ambedkar condemning the act of BJP and RSS leaders here in Khammam on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Raja Rao alleged that it is the shame full act to demolish the statues of great persons like Dr. B R Ambedkar who inspired number of people and strived hard for the bright future of the coming up generations. The BJP government is afraid to see the statues of great people who fought for the down trodden people.

That is why intentionally they are demolishing their statues. After winning the elections in Tripura, the BJP party demolished the Communist leader Lenin’s statue, he pointed.

If the BJP party tries to demolish one Statue, hundreds of statues will be installed in that place, he warned. The BJP party by encouraging the communalism across the country is trying to harass the people in the name of caste and religion and is attacking the innocent people, he criticised.

The representatives of KVPS Narra Ramesh, Nakarikanti Chiranjeevi, Burri Venkat Kumar, Ramulamma, DYFI leaders Upendar Naik, Palvai Yadagiri, Naresh, Kumari, Ganesh, Shekar and Rajesh were present along with others.
