Liquid in LPG turns water!
As many as 70 consumers were in for a shock when they received LPG gas cylinders filled with water instead of cooking gas. The gas cylinders were delivered by the HP Gas Agency in Shadnagar.

Aggrieved over this, the customers gathered at Jai Hanuman Gas Agency at Hajipally road on Wednesday and staged a protest against the agency delivering gas cylinders filled with water.
Realising the gravity of the situation, the management of the agency immediately replaced the cylinders packed with water with genuine ones and ensured that the customers did not create more ruckus over the issue.
According to gas agency staff, recently they had received a fresh load of 490 HP gas cylinders from the HP Gas Company from Hyderabad. However due to some technical error at the gas filling station some cylinders could have been erroneously filled with water during the process of washing and the same might have been transported to the agency. “We had never faced such a peculiar situation earlier.
The slip-up could have happened at the company itself. “However, we have replaced all those water-filled cylinders with the gas cylinders and will send back the faulty cylinders to the company and lodge a complaint with the company officials in this regard,” said a spokesperson of Jai Hanuman HP gas Agency.
At present there are three HP Agencies in Shadnagar constituency serving the public delivering cooking gas cylinders.
