Employees protest seeking withdrawal of CPS on March 25
Telangana Group-1 Officers Association State president and Deputy Transport Commissioner Mamindla Chandrashekar Goud appealed to the State government to wind up Contributory Pension Scheme and instead implement the old pension scheme in the State in the interest of employees and their family members.

On Wednesday, along with employees, he released a poster of Sakala Udyogula Mahasabha on the premises of district transport office in Nalgonda.
He urged the employees of all categories to extend their support to the meeting which is to be held on March 25 in Hyderabad, and make it a huge success. “Even though the Centre brought the CPS through PFRDA Act, the State government has liberty to join or exit from the scheme,” he said, urging the government to form a committee to study the policies of the Act before taking further steps.
Reminding the role employees in Sakala Janula Samme during Telangana agitation, he called upon the employees to show the same spirit to achieve their demands such as lifting of ban imposed on transfers, constitution of Pay Revision Commission and others. Motor Vehicle Inspectors, constables, administrative staff and others took part in the programme.
