Mahbubnagar SHE Teams given bikes for effective patrolling
For effective patrolling and policing, the women constables who are part of She Teams were given two-wheelers here on Wednesday. Superintendent of Police Dr B Anuradha flagged off the programme. The Hero Motocorp, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, had donated 20 brand new Hero Duet scooters to members of She Teams.
Mahbubnagar: For effective patrolling and policing, the women constables who are part of She Teams were given two-wheelers here on Wednesday. The Hero Motocorp, as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility, had donated 20 brand new Hero Duet scooters to members of She Teams.
So far, the company has donated as many as 170 scooters for She Teams in the district. Kamal Karmachandani, Regional Manager, Hero Motocrop Limited, Dileep Reddy, Managing Partner, Ashwini Hero and other representatives from Hero Motocrop handed over the vehicles to women cops at the district police office.
Thanking the donors for their generosity, the SP said vehicles would make a lot of difference in policing and would reduce the response time. The Hero Motocorp also donated Rs 1 lakh for the installation of CCTV cameras in the district.
