As part of the programme, the priests painted "Garuda Bird" on cloth and conducted special pujas. A Garudhadhi Vahana Seva programme would be conducted on Saturday at Dwaja Stambham, said the priests.
Edhurkolu programme would be conducted on Sunday evening, the priests added. A large number of devotees thronged the temple to witness the celebrations and offered their prayers. The temple officers made separate temporary queue lines for the darshan of lord Rama in the main temple.
